Spartech implements Jaros Analytics early in Oracle Apps 11i rollout to aid in conversion from 11.03

Spartech deploys entire Jaros Analytics Suite for reporting infrastructure, historical repository, and key M&A business integration tool. The Jaros data warehouse aids Spartech with historical data from Oracle 11.03 saving time and money on data conversion while obtaining a single view of the company for current and historical data. It provides a mechanism to support quick assimilation of business information from multiple ERP systems as Spartech continues to grow through acquisition.

St. Louis, MO -- May 1, 2004 -- Spartech standardized on Oracle Applications and recently began a rollout of Oracle 11i. Spartech decided on a reporting strategy based on Jaros Analytics.

Spartech has successfully deployed the entire suite of Jaros Analytics modules including Financials, Orders and Shipments, Inventory/Costing, Purchasing, and Manufacturing in a Pilot instance. Spartech will be using the data warehouse and operational data store in Jaros Analytics as a repository for both current data from Oracle 11i as well as historical data from Oracle 11.03 and several legacy systems. Over time, Spartech will integrate several ERP systems into the Jaros repository providing a single view of the business data across legacy and current systems.

As Spartech rolls out the new version of Oracle Applications to their plants around the world, the Jaros system provides the infrastructure for a comprehensive reporting and analysis capability.  Spartech chose Jaros over competing alternatives from Decision Point Applications and Noetix. Jaros and Spartech begin installation of the Jaros software in September, requiring only 1 week of Jaros consulting time to put the system into production for Spartech's Oracle 11.5.8 system which is now live for their plant in Mexico. Further integration of 11.03 and non-Oracle systems will continue over time. Oracle and Jaros will be implemented for all Spartech divisions and plants in the US, Canada, and Mexico over the next two years.
